The Real McCoy's

The Real McCoy's has been doing not only better than its competitors, but also probably better than its original made in the United States, a half-century ago.

About The Real McCoy's

"The Real McCoy's" is an exception as it alone represents the heritage universe. For many, The Real McCoy's is a synonymous with leather jackets, such as the very famous A-2, the mythical motorcycle jackets of the 40s Buco, or the military clothing, etc. The Real McCoy's is, certainly, the best brand for the reproduction of vintage clothing in the world. The Real McCoy's never compromises on materials, seams or finishing. Their products are the result of many years of researches. Most of the elements are based on originals from the huge vintage collection of a founder, Hitoshi Tsujimoto.

American clothing

Originally, Tsujimoto's obsession with American clothing began in 1978 during a 40-day trip across America. Hitoshi Tsujimoto was only 18 years old at the time, and he came home with jeans, sports jerseys and sweatshirts, which he quickly sold back to Osaka.
In the mid-80s, the Japanese vintage industry was just starting to take off. Hitoshi Tsujimoto then opened a small vintage clothing store in Amerikamura, an area of Osaka, which has since become the Japanese epicenter for American fashion.

According to Tsujimoto, "The greatest innovation in the history of clothing has been the invention of jeans, the garment that has conquered the world, but with jeans, as with everything, Tsujimoto does not just imitate the classic style.
For Hitoshi Tsujimoto: "It is not so difficult to do something that is one hundred percent the same as the original".
"The key is not only getting the perfect details, but also knowing how to make a difference."Tsujimoto continues."We create something that looks" better."

"Authentic product"

Basically, Tsujimoto started The Real McCoy's because he wanted to sell the best vintage clothing in the world. Even though many others have done it before him, no one has been able to redesign and rebuild American military or sports icons like Tsujimoto. Although the Japanese are generally known for their attention to detail, The Real McCoy's is not only better than its competitors, but probably better than the originals made in the United States half a century ago. "The real McCoy" is synonymous with "the authentic product" that we take it very seriously at The Real McCoy's.

The Real McCoy's has become a label, a cult for some.
