RTH is an American specialist in the leather goods, scents, ceramics and reworked vintage fabrics designed and curated by René Holguin in Los Angeles, CA.
RTH is one of the most beautiful shops in America. RTH creates shoes, jewelry, clothes with the aesthetics of tribe-based cultures. The universe of RTH is connected to nature and the indigenous people of the land before colonization and industrialization.
Initially, René Holguin obsessed to wear in the East Coast preppy style that didn’t exist in El Paso Texas where he grew up and his father owned the Laramie Boot Company.
Instead of wearing cowboy boots, he wore a Ralph Lauren oxford shirt. Then he naturally invented his own preppy cowboy look. Holguin finally went to New York to work for Ralph Lauren.
In 2011 he opened his shop RTH inspired by the global truths of indigenous tribes and humans from around the world.
René Tadeo Holguin is an ancient-futurist who knows how to break the traditional American silhouette. Every product becomes avant-garde when he works for. A mixture of Asian and Native American and Mexican and South American style, so many different things are combined with comfort. RTH embraces cultural differences no matter the location, language, faith, culture or traditions. Their necklace, scarf, pouch or belt can easily integrate into personal style and everyday life.
